Wisconsin farmers turned their corn maze into an 11-acre billboard for a suicide helpline. It says, "Your life matters" and has the number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255). John and Julie Govin came up with the idea after losing a family member to suicide in January. "The idea immediately popped into our heads. In fact, it was on the way to the funeral that the idea popped into our heads that maybe we could do a suicide prevention maze," John Govin said. He said the family picks themes for the maze that are important to them. Previous designs have honored the Boy Scouts, their fellow farmers, Alzheimer's awareness, country star Garth Brooks and the Green Bay Packers.

@conservative_crip Obviously not all young mothers are unable to provide for their child. But if they are mature, and do love their supposed child, they can decide for themselves, with their doctor, whether they're ready to provide the life they want for their child or not. Of course young mothers are capable of loving their child as well as any older mother, I never mentioned age. Someone can be capable, and incapable of providing for a child at any child bearing age. But on the flip side just because a mother has a child doesn't mean she's going to care for them.

@laurenmcgeebeauty what if they didn’t do it for the social media hype though🤔 like anytime in the world someone does something good it’s gonna be for the social media hype? Regardless of whether or not they had other motives they did something good. This helps. People entering this maze will probably know about the fact this is raising awareness. Anyways you don’t have proof this was for the hype. CNN could have just covered this afterwards

@blondie752 Also the ways you've described abortions are wildly inaccurate, up to 10 weeks in abortions can be performed by pill form, no surgery needed. If a mother is going to have a more intensive abortion in her 3rd trimester then it's likely she did in fact want to have the child, but there were medical complications. So please, for the love of God, stop spreading misinformation and fear around women's health.

Guys guys guys!! It’s for the social media hype. Y’all thinking only people in helicopters will see it. CNN is reporting it to the world right now and everyone will share it. Welcome to the future, dimwits. All of you in such a hurry to be cruel about something where someone is trying to spread awareness. Do we no longer care for our neighbors?!....

So many disrespectful comments. Absolutely disgusting. This photo captures a tribute to the family’s loved one who passed away. It has also grabbed the attention of CNN and most likely others suffering with suicidal tendencies. So think carefully about your comments before posting them 🤦🏽♀️
