@rachel_the_wade I also traveled a long distance to get to the event but not knowing what to expect I thought I would have a back up plan incase of this! I understand people have different expectations of events and their facilities but surely if going into the unknown as this is only the second year Fearne has run this we can try to plan for this. I’m not being virtuous at all just realistic - apologies if I offend you but we all have our own opinions

Absolutely loved this podcast - Billy is such an amazing role model as he’s so positive with all that he has been through and I wish him all the best in his career. On another note to those moaning about food queues- were your tummies that important to miss out on the events of the day? We took a couple of snacks ie fruit and had Joe’s juice (free hardly waited) to top us up. I think some people completely missed the point of the day but their loss!

This was the only talk we managed to see and it was brilliant and inspiring. We planned to see the talks after this one but a mission to get food which didn't happen until 3pm and we had to go off site meant we missed everything. Bit sad. Not in a Happy Place and I so wanted to be. Love Fearne and the ethos but the day didn't pan out at all well. Disappointing when you also have to travel 2hrs to attend.

@sartay22 how virtuous of you! Nowhere did any of the info given prior to coming did it say there would be so few refreshments available. I travelled for 3 hours today to get to the festival (no one forced me, my choice to attend) and I expected a festival to be able to cater for the people attending. That’s not unreasonable. What is unreasonable is people having to leave the site to get food/drink.

@ivy__wolfe Yes and also this was the first one of this type of festival so there are bound to be teething problems. I am sure people who got to take part in classes and see talks had an absolutely brilliant time. I very much enjoyed the one talk I did get to see, but as you say if you don't give feedback organisers may not know what areas can be improved upon. 😊

@housefullofpickles why are you acting hollier than thou. Do you not eat to share the plight with starving Africans. Your point is ridiculous, if you pay for an event and are let down by it you have a right to be upset about it. So climb down from that high horse of yours before you fall.
