Listen, we’re sure this was an innocent mistake. The shoemaker for sure has a good sole. Mistakes and accidents can happen to the best of us but there’s no sneaker around our officers. They are trained to find prohibited items. Allow us to jog your memory, although disposable razors and cartridges are good to go in your carry-on bag, razor blades like these must be packed in checked bags.

I have a complaint about Miami international airport! Why would their TSA pre check close at 9pm??? That just makes absolutely no sense when you pay for a service that can’t be utilize you guys need to be ashamed and then had the nerve to request I take my shoes off like why clearly my boarding pass says pre check!!! This shouldn’t happen at any airport in the US!!! 😡

@gfromthelv their statistics of failure rate are from 2015 but they just keep reusing it to sound better. And privatization won’t change anything. Still can’t take your water or your knives. San Francisco is privatized and still operates under TSAs rules and procedures.

@tsa can I bring marijuana flying from Washington to California? Would it have to be bought from a dispensary? Could it be home grown and sealed? Please explain if this is legal. Having a late night debate.

@c.g._eyephotography I agree it’s possible. About 8 years ago I bought some sandals at Forever 21. A couple of weeks later a metal blade started sticking out of it.
