that look you make when you’re acting alongside sir @エルトン・ジョン and you just can’t quite believe this is your life 😂 #fbf on the set of @nashvilleabc a little over 3 years ago. one of the more surreal days i’ve had on a set, for sure! he was on his way to roanoke to play a gig with his band - he’s friends with #calliekhouri and @tboneburnettofficial and so he made a stopover in nashville in his private plane with his entire band to make a guest appearance, and then continue on to his gig. he was to perform a duet with @sampalladio off his new album! the crew had meticulously rehearsed the song he was to perform a number of times before his arrival, thinking he might have time to do it twice at most, and then we’d grab the acting scene quickly before he headed out. turned out, when he got there, not only did he sing the song (live!) with sam 7 times to be sure they got it, but he also serenaded us and the background performers in the ‘audience’ with Your Song and Rocket Man! then, we filmed this scene. anticipating sir elton not having had time to learn lines, we had cue cards for him. he didn’t look at them once! sam and i joked afterward that he knew his lines better than we did - we were both just trying to hold it together! 💕 #flashbackfriday #nashvilleseries #nashvilleseason4 #autumnchase
