Around the third grade, my bestie and I had a company that made and sold homemade, hand cranked ice cream to the neighborhood. It was a smash hit. We only offered one topping, because only one is needed to turn a bowl or a cone into a party: MAGIC SHELL AND NOW YOU CAN MAKE IT AT HOME!!!! (I buried the lede). This recipe has defined my family’s summer—it reminds me of the @dairyqueen dipped cones, but better (😬sacrilege🙈)—and I’ve made it several times a week since it showed up in @nytcooking. Two ingredients, five minutes, and you are the coolest chick on the block.

Ingredients:
7 ounces chocolate (I like to mix dark and milk, she calls for bittersweet)
2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil

Directions:
1. Chop chocolate.
2. Melt chocolate over a double boiler.
3. Off heat, stir in coconut oil until completely dissolved, about 1 minute.
4. Pour/drizzle over ice cream. Chocolate will harden within seconds. ⭐️
5. Store any leftovers at room temperature and gently reheat for future hero moments. 🦸🏻♀️
6. Yum.

Omg yes been melting coconut oil in the micro for 20 seconds...🤷🏼♀️🤦♀️I know micros are bad. Never use it except for this. Melt the coconut oil then add cocoa powder and grade A maple syrup just for sweetness. Add as much as you like. That’s it. No chocolate chips so it’s so much healthier. And it hardens in seconds over your ice cream. I Also just freeze my over ripes bananas and process them in my food processor adding a little cinnamon. And that’s all. It’s banana ice cream. So good. Try it. Lmk. You make me smile all the time. ❤️U. Thank you!

My first wife was hooked on opioids before opioids had a name, and I threatened her with divorce to get her to quit! That didn’t work, so I threatened her doctors that I was going to sue their @$$ off if they didn’t quit written scripts to her, that did it!!, I cut off her supply! And walking from the kitchen through the dining room in this small house that we had rented, I heard a swoosh that went passed my right ear and stuck in the wall!!

I first discovered it when our grandkids were coming over and I want to do something different then just plain ice cream so I tried making this. Up to today they still ask for squiggles on their ice cream and my hubby eats it on his ice cream also. ❤️😊👍
