This celebrated festival, run by former NYCB principal ⭐️ @damian_woetzel (with a lot of ❤️ from his star power, made me speechless to meet her wife, A++ coach, @heather_watts_watts), is known for its collaborations, for its mix of genres—@marthagrahamdance, @lilbuckdalegend and @jonboogz, @ballethispanico, @malpasodance, and of course—@nycballet and @abtofficial, to name a few, for lifting dancers into the role of choreographers—@jamesbwhiteside, @tilerpeck (premiere Aug 5th!) and big shoutout to this year’s artist-in-residence @laurenlovette, whose piece with @unityphelan and @kennardhenson is not to be missed (also Aug 5th)!
