Self love often feels so far off. We believe we don’t deserve it or it seems impossible as we pile up all of the things we believe we’ve done wrong in life. Recently I’ve been mitigating the self loathing by remembering my intentions are good and when in the past they haven’t been it’s because I wasn’t being authentic so those mistakes been pivotal times of learning. I’m perhaps at a place of acceptance and climbing the ladder to self love. Self love doesn’t mean thinking you’re better than others, or being selfish. It’s a state which allows us to feel peaceful enough to help others and get out of our own heads. #selflove

alandshell1966 I am a 53 year old woman , it took me til I was around 46 years old to appreciate self love and what it was all about . It took me a long time to get there , but when I did I felt so much better , I know exactly what you mean by it x

50setgo thankyou Fern....self love.....sometimes hard to find hidden so deep under guilt, doubt and other negative feelings......today is hard.....and having those words to read lets me know im not alone 🧡🧡
