A few days ago I lost it, like full on, out of my mind, lost it. I was rehashing old pattens, grasping for straws and solutions that never worked. I felt caught, trapped and simultaneously desperately trying to fight my way out. It lasted for a little over an hour. I consider that progress. Years ago, it would have lasted a few months, taken me into a dark space of self-loathing, victimhood and learned helplessness. But an hour, well, that’s not too bad.

Just because you’re on the path doesn’t mean you won’t wobble or stumble here and there. The key is to keep going, to pick yourself back up again, to be kind, gentle and forgiving to yourself.

Your emotional balance is on your shoulders. Only you can choose to step on the path of healing. And you will have to choose over and over again to walk in the footsteps of peace.

To create fear you need to use your imagination. You create things in your mind that have not even happened. Those things may happen, but they may as well not. How many of the horrible things we are afraid of actually happen? So why do we even think about it? - Always remember that, as you draw your attention to something, it is more likely to happen. So be careful when you choose what to think about, where to put your attention to. Why don't decide to produce other thoughts? Decide to think about something that makes us feel really good, really happy. - When problems come up, solve them. As long as they have not turned up, keep your mind focused on positive themes that make you feel good. (Free after Sadhguru).

I think most can identify with this. Its wonderful that you speak openly and show us we all have 'things' and remind us that it's ok. And better to address it, think on it, allow it to surface and move forward realizing that it is human nature, we can learn and grow from these experiences

Had the same issue few days ago... your words are so right but while you are in that negative state of mind, its hard not to judge yourself and come out of this. One thing I‘ve also share with you is that it takes less time to get out, to release those negative patterns...🤗🙏🏻

@kinoyoga , dear Kino, could you, please, explain what happens if someone practices yoga as sport, or fitness? Could it be called yoga at all? Can traditional ashtanga be done only as a fitness activity? Thank you 😇

Your posts that share honest thoughts mean so much, I can only speak of my own experience but I don't think I am the only one who is inspired 💜🙏
