redfishin727 Yes. I've got the 3000. But I will say theres nothing this reel can do that my ci4+ , sustains and my fks cant do either. The taller spool dont add any more distance then I already have. But the taller spool does make it a smoother cast. That's about it. To me the taller spool is a gimmick point to make quick sales. Honesty after using it and getting a few decent snook off of it. I'm telling my buds to stick to the fks. Was going to upgrade all my fks to the FLs but decided to upgrade them all to sustain. Ive had one issue with my fk line roller bearing but sense then ive been packing my line roller area with shimano drag grease I havent had one issue from that point on. As far as carbonfiber drag washers all my fks have them. They are $8 for a set at smoothdrag.com. Save some money and get the Fk. Alot of places have the fks on sale for $130 to $150... order some carbon drag washers online , pack your line roller bearing with grease and basically have a FL without the taller spool. That all being said I still love all my shimanos.
