I cannot believe that this was 6 years ago!! Back then I was a carefree graduate, with an uncertain future ahead.

Today I find myself being responsible for very different things - supporting my now retired parents, buying our family car and also getting ready to move into my new home independently.
.
I recently read that S’poreans have the highest life expectancy in the world, and it does stress me out slightly, thinking of the financial responsibilities I am taking on, for myself and my parents. This is why I’m also glad to have CPF LIFE to support my folks through their retirement years on their basic needs.

It’s a plan that I’m glad to have in my lifetime too, so that I feel secure and hopefully, be slightly more worry free in my silver years ☺
