I Can’t Get No Sleep.
I’ve actually slept well for the last few nights but directly after the Happy Place Festival I barely slept a wink. Every breathing exercise, mind trick or meditation was swallowed whole by a stampede of random thoughts! I love my over thinking brain most of the time but do wish it had an off switch. #birosketch

I have a over think I call it the hungry brain, it loves information, I'm also dyslexic so very right sided brain thinking, our hormones play a big part to our thinking, different times stimulate the amigdla, what's on your mind, what u over thinking about, is it something that needs attention, or is it just random stuff, strangely enough I was the same last night, whens the full moon due 🙏😂 I did try something eles last night I did sleep, remember being in alot of dream states last night, I rubbed lavender on my tembles, and karma on the back of my neck and forehead, karma is a magnesium oil, relaxes muscles, first time I tried this was last night, honestly it worked, I usually go over hyper in my mind around my hormones, I also focus on bringing my thoughts to the now, in the room layed in bed, window open, I'm here in my bed, comfy tired safe secure, it's nice to rest, talk to the subconscious it believes everything you tell it, xx

That was me two years ago.... read Say Good Night yo Insomnia by Gregg D Jacobs. Then stick with the program. It too several months of brutal discipline and me no longer making excuses for why I couldn’t keep a regular bed time / wake time. I was consistently getting 3 1/2 or 4 hrs interrupted with sleep per night. I now get 7-8 hrs solid. I thought I was a lost cause and couldn’t believe this would ever b possible. Give it s try. 🍀🤞🏻😘

Totally with you on the overthinking brain! 💕 Read your Happy book and it encouraged me to start journalling, something which I had a block on for far too long, I've always loved writing and doodling but couldn't seem to put pen to paper when it came to emotions ?! It does help tho, Thank you for that x
