The University of Basel and Novartis Next Generation Scientist Program aims to accelerate drug discovery and clinical research around the world. This year, 21 masters, PhD and post-doc health specialists from 14 countries undertook a three-month internship at the Novartis campus in Basel.

They’re now set to take new knowledge, skills and networks back to their home countries and institutes.
