It’s so sad, in this day and age, when there’s so much educational info out there that shows how inhumane and harmful declawing is to a cat’s health and well-being, that people still post photos of their cats here in the #declawed section and either announce that they are going to have their beloved cat’s toe bones and claws barbarically amputated or had them amputated. 😿😿😿💔
Do you think these people just don’t care about the welfare of their cats, or do you think they’ve been deceived by their unethical declawing vets to believe this inhumane procedure is ok????

indy_catman_and_luna_kitties I think we live in a very selfish society where the individuals wants supersede anyone or anything else. Their furniture is more important than a living breathing being. And FYI. If your cat (s) are destroying anything you don’t want them@to, then you either don’t understand or care about a cat’s need to scratch and have designated areas for them or you’re too lazy to try and help train them and want to take the easy way out for you ie:declawing which is the horrific form of abuse and a life sentence of altering what is an integral part of being a cat—Claws! #enddeclawing #pawproject #pawsneedclaws #declawingiscruel

susies_menagerie Both - encouraged by a vet that feels his technique by laser is efficacious and humane. I DO think the majority of people care about their cat(s), but think about how much $ they’ve spent on furniture, and believe declawing is the answer. Keeping a cat’s claws trimmed is the answer - not hard to do yourself!!! And keeping a cat tree within reach for them to ‘claw’, encouraging a natural instinct to sharpen their claws. THINK, people!!!!!
