Photo by @DaisyGilardini | Mother polar bears are noted for both their affection toward their offspring and their valor in protecting them. This mother in Canada's Wapusk National Park showed great patience while her two cubs played and jumped all over her. When we found her she was in what is called a day den, where she was resting her cubs on the way to the pack ice of Hudson Bay to hunt baby seals.
