This shot of one of the lions that guard the Museum’s North entrance was taken by @dr_danielvallejo.

The foundation stone of the northern wing of the Museum was laid in 1907 by King Edward VII. 110 years later his great-granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II opened the Sir Joseph Hotung Gallery of China and South Asia, located in the same wing.
