The air was still thick with smoke and the dust and dirt from the earth clung to our sweat as we wandered the countryside with our heavy camera gear, following Governor Jay Inslee as he spoke to rural communities about climate change. An increase in the devastation and frequency of forest fires is further evidence of a transforming planet, as changes in precipitation are caused by a warming ocean.
