I went to this hugely promoted fight tonight in Moscow between Russia's Strongest Man Mikhail Koklyaev & fighter Alexander Emalianenko The latter called the strong man "dumb" which resulted in the challenge. Strong vs Tough. The result made me conscious about a notion I want to share. Let's ponder World War 3 & what has basically become by a reality TV dispute between America & Russia shown weekly on CNN. Things are presented in political jargon & bias. Regressing over the past few days, I've walk around Moscow, past Red Square & the Kremlin, viewed Pushkin's Museum, attended the Bolshoi Ballet & ridden the subway. I see how proud Russians are with achievements, mostly being the first into space. Yet almost on every other level, in my opinion, Russia, like Japan is competing with & copying the West. Meanwhile CNN is talking about Russia in clichés, like the KGB Members of Kaos from Maxwell Smart. If you've visited Moscow or St Petersburg, on the street you wouldn't pick the difference between Russian, Italian or French people other than most ignore the English language. The fight tonight was obvious, the strongest vs the hardest & even though Mokhaill surprised Alexander & landed a couple of early blows, the language of experience & technique resulted in Alexander scoring a knock out punch before the first round bell sounded. Speaking of Russian toughness, do people realize that Russia sacrificed 27 Million lives in WW2 & their defeat of the Nazis altered the war & future of mankind.By comparison, the USA lost 418,000, UK 450,000. Glonal Freedom was also defined by Russian input. After WW2 Roosevelt tried to win relations but unluckily the next president created The Cold War. In the West education creates negative bias. I'm running out of IG space but get to know more about Russia.
