These rescues weren’t chosen lightly. There were so many amazing causes to choose from. But these rescues really spoke to us. Each have something truly special about them that shines through in all that they do. And we know you guys will see that too. So here they are (across 3 posts so they fit!) @bulliesinneed Operate in Ontario, a province in Canada where pitbulls are a banned breed. They rescue pitbulls and all pitbull type dogs from shelters there that face death row just because of their appearance and get them rehomed outside of the area where they are not a banned breed. On top of all the already high costs that are involved with rescuing upwards of 40 dogs at any one time, bullies in need also need to cover flight costs to get the dogs out of the banned province and into safe homes. @ipittythebull are a dog rescue and humane education organization. They bring shelter pitties into schools to teach the kids about pit bull discrimination and directly correlate it to bullying and racial discrimination. They are heavily involved in the community and teach people the importance of responsible dog ownership. @phillybullyteam are a foster based, bully breed rescue based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia has a huge pitbull problem and these guys do their best work to save as many Philly bullies as they can whilst also running a program to give shelter dogs food and blankets at Christmas time.
