The #fashionawards is one of the biggest events of the year and a red carpet with SO many glamours people putting their best designer foot forward for the all important photo moment. This filled me with anxiety and insecurities that I honestly didn’t think would matter to me during my pregnancy but they came on thick and fast! It’s an intimidating environment at the best of times, never mind when you feel awkward because you're not really sure how to stand for pictures (I know we all have a ‘best side’ because 4 months ago I did too – but that goes out of the window during your second trimester!). Finding a calming space to get ready in was key for me @hotelkensington you were so welcoming (lots of baby gifts on arrival – which was a good distraction!) thank you for taking such good care of me, I could have stayed in the Kensington Suite for days on end.
