I was impressed with the women of the Aqualillies from the very first moment we met, and as I got into the pool with them I knew something special was about to happen. It was my first time photographing underwater, which was definitely a challenge. But the athleticism and grace of the Aqualillies motivated me to keep pushing myself physically, and the combination of light, color, and movement inspired me to do my very best to capture the sheer magic of it all.
