Oh my…I am humbled and profoundly honored that @ナショナルジオグラフィック has chosen my photograph as one of the Best of The Decade. It shows men and women trying to catch a signal under moonlight along the Red Sea in Djibouti City, Djibouti. Each are attempting to speak with their loved ones who had already migrated further, or were about to join them in the act of migration. This was and still is a moment that is all of us, this precious need of holding on to the only stability we have in this life…those who love and support us.
