Born to a Palestinian family who emigrated to North Carolina, designer Yasmeen Mjalli was raised in the United States and later attended college in the country. But when her family moved back to Palestine, Mjalli followed them.
Mjalli had never intended to create @babyfist_, but she launched the label initially as a spotlight on the need for true gender equality across the globe.
