Transforming the human body into a ‘living brush’, models coated in Klein Blue paint would move across the floor, leaving painterly silhouettes of themselves across large sheets of paper.

Fresh to auction, the work remained in one family collection for 35 years, and stands as a relic from one of the artist’s most beguiling ceremonies.
