My gorgeous friend @jadeywadey180 treated me to a hydrating and soothing facial to help with the dry and sensitive skin I’m experiencing as a side effect to my seizure medication.

I haven’t been feeling myself and I’ve been struggling with my self confidence because even wearing makeup can’t cover dryness, it can even make it look worse! 😩 I really appreciate having a friend who is such an expert on skincare and a huge beauty influencer treat me and my skin and help make me feel prettier 🥺

The way we look doesn’t define us or our value, and that’s been a learning curve for me during my health challenges, since I’ve had to focus more on my actual health rather than just keeping in shape to look good for my job. I’m grateful for that lesson, however it isn’t ‘vain’ to admit you feel better about yourself when you look your best.
