Photos by Charlie Hamilton James @chamiltonjames // Sponsored by @InterContinental // There’s no doubt London is a busy, sometimes chaotic, city. What’s interesting about it, though, is that it holds secrets and gems. Just take a left or a right down a street you’ve never heard of and you may discover something you never knew existed, like the colorful waterways of Little Venice or the Graffiti Tunnel in the vaults below Waterloo Station—a street photographer’s dream location. Or take a walk through one of the city’s numerous parks, where the sound of traffic dies away, and find yourself watching deer or feeding the swans. London is so green that it’s been named the world’s first National Park City. I spent a week photographing London in December. It was the first time I'd ever really turned a camera on the city I used to call home, and I explored it with a new direction to look beyond its icons in the hopes of finding some new ones. My advice: Next time you’re in London, take a wrong turn and see where you end up. // With every journey you take, enhance your stay with @InterContinental Hotels & Resorts for an unforgettable experience. #InterContinentalLife
