"Competition" brings out the best in us. It pushes us further, drives us harder, and makes us stronger. We welcome it, celebrate it, and revel in it except for one place―beauty. It’s the one competition we never signed up for but find ourselves in. Beauty standards, rules & limitations. These toxic competitions dictate how we should look, feel, and act, creating pressure that hold us back in our daily lives. Top Olympic athletes declare #NOCOMPETITION hoping to inspire women to define what beauty means to them and not take part in toxic competitions because pressure should never dictate our choices.

As a TV reporter/interviewer myself who faces constant challenges and pressure, I also stand up for NC. I truly believe that success comes by striving to become the best version of yourself. It's not about comparing yourself to others or wanting to become like someone else. It's to become the person YOU want to be and not be influenced by others’ judgements or words. You should know & believe in yourself more than anyone else.❤️ I'm so honored to make this incredible movement come to life with SK-II as one of the directors. I look forward to continue sharing & spreading this empowering movement, as this is just the beginning of it all!✨

"Competition"（競争）は私たちを成長させ、自分達の可能性を最大限に引き出し、さらなる高みへ導いてくれます。でも一方で、望まない不健全な“競争”があることも確かです。オリンピックを機にスタートする#NOCOMPETITION では、望まない競争を乗り越えた6組のアスリートたちが、美と人生における競争について問いかけ、「自分自身がなりたい自分」を目指して頑張っていく姿を追求します。

私もインタビュアーとして活動していく中で、時には女性差別など様々な競争＆葛藤もあります。今後行われるプロジェクトを通してこのmovementの大切さをシェアして参ります。
