Art-world power couple Fairfax Dorn and @marcglimcher aimed to make their Hamptons home a retreat—“something that feels comfortable and not so precious,” Dorn explains. The house, an 11-bedroom spec build, was completely transformed with the help of Dorn’s design collective, Fairfax Dorn Projects. By incorporating A-list art, bold pops of color, and atmospheric touches that felt “very beachy and open,” the home perfectly blends a laid-back summer vibe with striking design moments that spotlight Dorn’s and Glimcher’s keen eyes. In the kitchen, @sergiorodriguesatelier barstools from @espasso pull up to a custom island. The pendants are by @heatherlevineceramics, the wall tile is by @fireclaytile, and the ceiling is lined in cedar.
