"I must draw hay". The hay is the most important thing for rabbits. But I was in trouble a little. Hay is not cute. And it's difficult to paint. I think maybe this is the first picture of "hay park in a room". I can see the passive feeling for the quantity of hay. I couldn't enjoy and draw it while having a sense of duty. But I became to draw it in the advice of a certain person very positively. But I want to monopolize it because it is my important memory. Thanks to you, the rabbits in the picture seem to be healthy, too.
うさぎ絵の話(5)
「牧草を描かなくてはいけない」。うさぎさんを描くのに牧草は必然です。でも正直ちょっと困ってました。牧草の、かわいくなさとめんどくささに。なんだか家の中が荒れてるみたいに見えそうだし。何百本も描いてらんないし。などと思いつつ、確かこの絵が最初の、「部屋の中に牧草パークがある絵」だったと思います。牧草の量に消極的な気持ちが見えます。使命感に駆られつつ、なかなか楽しんで描くことはできずにいたのですが、とても積極的に描くようになったのは、ある人のおかげです。でもその話は私の大事な思い出なので、書かずに独り占めしていたいと思います。おかげさまで絵の中のうさぎさんも健康そうです。
