I have learned that I do have the ability to be more patient. That it’s possible to be absolutely bawling your eyes out one minute because you’re frustrated, overwhelmed and defeated, and the next minute because you love your child so much you can’t imagine your life without them. I have learned that you develop a mom strength which allows you to function on only a few hours of sleep for numerous nights on end, and that caffeine is just as effective when your coffee is cold. But the number one thing I have learned is that moms are literally modern day superheroes. Ander, thank you for making me a mama and showing me the most intense kind of love there is.
