This one is for those who think and operate differently from the people they spend frequent and intimate time with.

When these relationships are with people who are pessimistic and judgmental in nature, it can wear us down, causing us to lose confidence in ourselves, values, and dreams.

One very important word:

BOUNDARIES.

If you can’t create them physically, you can state them verbally, and if that still doesn’t work, you can erect them mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

Take space and time for you to recharge, connect, and create your own life.

Don’t let someone else’s limited view of themselves or the world cause you to narrow the viewfinder on your own.

It’s not to say that alternative perspectives aren’t useful—they most certainly are.
But there’s a difference between someone trying to offer additional information or opposing opinions and them projecting their fears, doubts, and lack of fulfillment onto you.

Learn to discern.
Know yourself.
Trust yourself.
Find your tribe who hoists you up.
Find those who challenge you to think differently without tearing you down. ✊🏼
