I’ve been starting each day for the last month with my kids coming in to our bed giving us 5 things they are grateful for. Then I’ll do a meditation. Lately it’s been Lacy Phillips work from her @tobemagnetic program which has been life changing for me. I don’t look at my phone or make breakfast for my kids until after I give myself this gift. This has been a GAME CHANGER! I shower then take a few minutes like 10 or 15 (yes this is manageable) to indulge in a REAL serious skin care moment. I mean something transcendent. Like a light shining on all the darkness. We all have to show up right now, however, wherever for whoever we can, but we need to guard our minds and hearts well in order to do it. The only way is to show up for yourself first then the world. So be kind to yourself, speak powerful encouraging words, refuse to indulge fear when it tries to move in.
