To proceed with our regularly scheduled content didn’t sit right with us. The recent murder of George Floyd by police is heartbreaking, disappointing and frustrating. Sadly he’s not an isolated situation. The day has come for change. Real change.

It needs to come from us all. We are starting the conversation here by using our platform as a space to amplify the voices of the Black community and their allies. Starting with employees here at Gap Inc and other friends of the brand.

We haven’t always gotten it right and we acknowledge that. But we are making strides in the right direction and are committed to working for a better republic. #BlackLivesMatter
