The documentary I co-directed, "Quincy," is included in @ネットフリックス’s new Black Lives Matter section. My dad’s life and career is a reminder of the unjust barriers and burdens conspicuously imposed on black Americans for 400 years. His life is a celebration of the few who pushed through but also a reminder of the many more who were not allowed the chance or circumstance. This country was designed to oppress Black Americans and the sooner we ALL reckon with that, the sooner we can start to fix the inequality it has created: "To know where you come from makes it easier to know where you're going." - @quincydjones
