It’s been awhile since I’ve written in my self-care bullet journal, which is okay, sometimes other things are better suited for nourishing well-being depending on where I’m at in the moment. Though today I made extra space for this as it’s helpful to have a journal with self-care reminders to flip through at any given time. I love the following list below by boundaries expert, writer and licensed therapist @nedratawwab who is also one of my favorite people to follow (her feed is full of wisdom!). Managing my time and energy well is an important priority to me and this list is a wonderful reinforcement and reminder for that. . . . Self-Care Sometimes Looks Like by @nedratawwab: . • Protecting your energy from people who threaten your sanity. • Turning your phone off. • Sleeping. • Minding your business. • Making tough decisions because they are healthy for you. • Creating space for things that bring joy. • Spending less time with draining people. • Saying “yes” to things despite your anxiety.
