Once upon a time there was a man who got back his sense of magic, his view was as sharp as when he was a little boy. During a walk through the Provence in 1972 Bernard Durin discovered the beauty of insects for himself. He observed them with enchanted precision and succeeded in portraying each insect as an individual personality. The diversity of this impressive insects can be also rediscovered in the world of fashion. Fashion has never only existed in the form of clothing. It‘s everywhere, it has to do with ideas, visions of how we live and what is happening. We don‘t change into an insect like some mythologies can tell, but our individuality and personality develops and develops again and again, through every age, growing and shaped by the time in which we live – just like an insect does.
