Breakfast has a big influence on the way I feel the rest of the day. As it’s Monday, I thought I’d share some of my daily morning routine.  Breakfast is breaking the fast. If you’re intermittent fasting and that’s early afternoon, I still consider it breakfast in the way that it is the first food after no food intake. The first thing that you put in your body is important in absorbing valuable nutrients. I have been learning a lot about nutrition and body awareness through the help of my team that I have been working with through my injury.  My morning routine starts with warm lemon water and a superfood green smoothie; I take a scoop of green powder, I use @vibranthealth or @athleticgreens (both packed with antioxidants, micronutrients, and probiotics), 2 scoops of collagen, I use @vitalproteins which has 20g of protein, vitamin c powder, a banana, vanilla, ceylon cinnamon, 2 tbsp macadamia nuts, and water or oat milk. After doing my PT and some work, I make some oatmeal with chia seeds, flax seeds, and fresh fruit. I actually don’t change my morning meals much, but I’ll do some small adjustments to this foundation. I like consistency a lot and I have found that this routine works well for me. What’s yours?
