I first wore the NZ fern at the Pacific School Games in Melbourne in 2005 when I was 14 years old and had a surprise win in the 800m in 2:10.48. 🇳🇿🏃‍♀️(first photo) . That race and every race since then where I have wore the New Zealand fern is an absolute honour and makes all the hard work worth it 🌿 . Making the Olympic team in 2016 (2nd photo) was one of the biggest dreams to have come true in my career so far. As well as running under 2 minutes for the first time in 2015. ♥️ Now all eyes are on next year's Olympics in Tokyo!! 🇯🇵 . Sport is such an awesome way to stay fit and healthy as well as bring people together! .
