Members of the Minneapolis theater community are leveraging their love of set design, carpentry and their city to help local businesses secure their properties as the city recovers from nights of unrest following the death of George Floyd. The group, called University Rebuild, helps clean up, repair, and protect all businesses but prioritizes the needs of businesses of color. University Rebuild has more than 100 volunteers and organizer Daisuke Kawachi estimates the group has now supported more than 200 businesses. (📸: Benjamin Olsen)
