Blacktip reef sharks gather below a coral cliff on Aldabra atoll. Fishing is prohibited here except for small subsistence quota to feed the researchers and staff of a very remote @sif_seychelles research station. When I made this photograph in 2008 the catch was still processed and cleaned on reef flat in front of the station and the sharks eagerly anticipated this daily ritual. Shot on a @saveourseasfoundation expedition working with @sif_seychelles
