The country has long been beset by extremes, and the climate crisis is compounding its problems—leading to the end of a way of life. The World Bank predicts there will be 143 million environmentally displaced people by 2050, and countless more Somalis will be pushed from their homes, with women and girls bearing the weight of displacement.
