This is a must watch from @lincolnproject.us. Their words: “Putin paid a bounty to kill American soldiers. Trump knew about it but did nothing. How can Trump lead America when he can't even defend it?” The Trump Administration has known since late February that Putin put a bounty on American (+ British) soldiers, & did nothing. NO sanctions. But Trump HAS been fighting to get Putin back into the G7. As a woman who has visited our soldiers on bases abroad, sat beside with soldiers when they’ve returned, wounded, from downrange, & spent time with military families around the world, the depth of depravity that this behavior signals cannot be overstated. He is a traitor.

The President does not care about the lives of American soldiers. He does not care about the lives of Americans, anywhere. Why do I say that? His Administration disbanded the Pandemic Response Network. They’ve known about COVID-19 since January, & did nothing. He called it a political hoax. He had distributed misinformation & denied science. His Administration is cutting federal funds for testing, despite experts clearly communicating that we need to test > 1,000,000 per day given our numbers. Because of this inaction & denial, Americans are 25% of the world’s COVID-19 deaths, though we are only 4% of the world’s population. Again, his inaction is killing us.

This is all happening while he is trying to dismantle the ACA, strip 26 million Americans of their healthcare, & remove protections for pre-existing conditions (which COVID-19 could fall under) from 130 million Americans. He is killing us.

All while tweeting out “white power” videos & violating the Geneva Conventions by having US Armed Services launch chemical attacks (tear gas is a violation of the GC, look it up) on his own citizens peacefully protesting in Lafayette Square, & other locations. Encouraging LE to “not be so nice” with citizens exercising their first amendment rights.

While I know America is not the center of the world, of war, of this pandemic, or of the fight to end oppression, I am centering us in this conversation because this is OUR PRESIDENT. His one job is to take care of us. He is an abject failure #TrumpTraitor
