NOW. 🐾 Meet little Greta. She was adopted from an awesome rescue, @paws.prayers.promises in 2018. The rescue had a no-declaw contract which the adopter signed. The adopter decided to get Greta declawed because she was "scratching" her. Soon after, Greta started biting this woman. The woman then took little Greta to her veterinarian to have her killed. 😿😿😿😿😿💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 Little Greta never had a chance to live a long and healthy life with her paws intact and free of pain and suffering from this barbaric amputation procedure. 😿 . And because of this sick cat cruelty that so many declawing veterinarian$ are STILL making excuses to justify performing, Greta lost her life. She was killed because of the issues her toe bone amputations caused. 😾😾😾😾😾 . Any vet who declaws cats can't be trusted. They are a complete shame to the veterinary profession. 😾😾😾 . The adopter didn't give her back to the rescue like it said she should do in the contract. The rescue wasn't aware of all this until after this woman adopted another cat from them and from the appearance of the cat's paws, it looks like she was also declawed. . We are going to try to interview this adopter to get her side of this story and also the vet who euthanized Greta since we know who they are. Enough is enough of this barbaric cruelty that is being done to hundreds of cats each day in America.😾😾 Declawing doesn't keep a cat in a home. In fact, often the opposite happens.
