At @allhandsandhearts we come together in unity to overcome disasters! Volunteers from all over the world come to work 6 days a week often 8-10 hours a day under the hot Mexican sun or in -7 celsius in Nepal for people which they have never met and for free! They often come for 2-3 weeks and stay for 3-4 months. They come thinking they will help others and while at it, they realize that they are getting more out of this than they are giving. In the process local community who lost often everything material and often many loved ones because of natural disasters get hope for life back, as well as disaster resilient homes and schools, and volunteers often find their purpose in life.
