A Colorado man knew something was wrong when he heard a commotion early Friday morning in a house in Aspen, Colorado, where he's staying with his kids. "I laid in bed thinking, 'I really hope this isn't a bear,'" Dave Chernosky told CNN. Dave Chernosky went downstairs to find a 400-pound black bear standing in front of his refrigerator. After leading it into the garage, Chernosky ran to check on his two sleeping children. The bear came back into the house, meeting Chernosky face-to-face. "We looked at each other, and he just smacked me in the side of the head and spun me around and got me again on the back," Chernosky said. The bear then left and was later found and euthanized by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials. (📸: Dave Chernosky)
