I'm *overjoyed* to announce that @kristinagillfood will be curating a monthly food takeover here at the Design*Sponge feed starting next month! You may know Kristina from her work as the Food & Drink editor at Design*Sponge (she created and ran the column for 12 years), or as the co-author and photographer of the award-winning cookbook, Tasting Rome. Here at Design*Sponge we know Kristina as one of the smartest, funniest and most loyal friends we've all been lucky enough to have. Every month, Kristina will be coordinating a takeover with a chef, cook, cookbook author, blogger or food writer of color. Kristina requested that her curation fees be donated to foundations or causes that help people of color advance in fields in which they are underrepresented and/or face considerable barriers to entry. So each month we will be highlighting (and donating to) a cause we'll share more about here, too.
