Photo by @joshuacogan Light beams pass through vining pea shoots on the Flores Family Farm in the Northern Neck of Virginia. The family grows some 200 types of crops throughout a growing season. While many large scale farms that focus on single crops were hit hard by the changes to the food system from the pandemic, a smaller farm like the Flores who had more direct access to their consumers was able to fare far better.
