Beyoncé, the 24-time Grammy Award-winning queen of pop, has released her hotly-anticipated visual album “Black is King” on Disney+. The album, based on the artist’s soundtrack album for Disney’s 2019 remake of “The Lion King,” aims to reimagine lessons from the film for “today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns,” Disney+ said. “Black is King” is Beyoncé’s third visual album, following “Beyoncé” in 2013 and “Lemonade” in 2016, and the company says it is a “celebratory memoir for the world on the black experience.” (📸: Travis Matthews/Parkwood Entertainment/Disney+)
