The 24th Street Band was started on 24th Street in NYC. We even recorded our second album on 24th Street at Todd Rundgren’s studio, Secret Sound! I was kinda the new guy, as earlier members included Mark Egan or Frank Gravis on bass. But the songwriting and playing skills of the four guys, Hiram Bullock, Clifford Carter, Steve Jordan and myself, created some good sounds and lots of fun performances in the US and Japan! This band became the first house band for Late Night with David Letterman, thanks to our close friendships with @thepaulshaffer.
