What was supposed to be a three-year road trip has turned into a 14-year journey around the world for New York couple Karen Catchpole and Eric Mohl. Catchpole, a writer and Mohl a photographer, have racked up 220,000 miles, 17 nations and 14 flat tires and have driven the equivalent of nine times around the world in the same red Silverador. While the couple has overcome numerous obstacles during their travels, being trapped in the Patagonia region of Argentina in the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic was not one they ever anticipated. What does the future hold for Catchpole and Mohl? The couple will continue to travel, safely, to countries where the virus is under control. It's a long, strange trip ahead for us all. (📸:Eric Mohl)
