26 countries, 19 languages, 30 hopes for the future. The #VogueHope portfolio captures a moment in time as all #Vogue editions unite to shine a light on those striving for positive change.

“Betty Muffler is not only an incredible artist, she is also a Ngangkari – a traditional Indigenous Australian healer with a powerful gift to assist others through her spirit and touch. She hails from @Iwantja_arts in the remote Indulkana Community in far north-east South Australia, approximately 400 kilometres south of Alice Springs and we’ve selected this artwork in collaboration with the @nationalgalleryaus in Canberra,” says Edwina McCann, #VogueAustralia’s editor-in-chief, on our selected contribution to this project. “In the wake of last summer’s devastating bushfire season, the Covid-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, I’ve chosen a uniquely Australian image that represents hope and healing.”
